Griffin Recycling
City of Griffin – Solid Waste Department has received a Department of Community Affairs Grant for $550,000.00 to build a Recycling Center and purchase a Recycling Truck. The New Center shall be up and running in the summer of 2008.

Towns within a 50 mile radius of Griffin no longer need to operate costly recycling centers. Single Stream Recyclables may be collected
1-curbside
2-cardboard recycling bins
3-classrooms
and transported to the Griffin Hub. From the Griffin Hub, recyclables are transported to Pratt Recycling, a MRF (Materials Recovery Facility).
